“Cannot close our eyes”.
The only way it could be
The only way you could be
Who says what’s wrong or what is right?
Do you follow the steps to fill your void?
Your emptiness and your trampled rights
Followed by the face of a boreal wave
Full of orders and complexes to reach
Right in the eye it comes
Stamped in your face it’s brought
Seize the day and forget your soul
You follow the steps, don’t you?
Escaping and trying to find your reign
Annoying races to your death
And I can’t afford it endlessly
He doesn’t even need to climb
We’re falling apart, we won’t success
They’re just watching us build
And I can’t afford it endlessly
He doesn’t even need to climb
We’re falling apart, we won’t success
They’re just watching us build
Here's the other thing
A missing key, an incentive
To compliment their existence
This lack of empathy maybe will decide their battle
And I can’t afford it endlessly
He doesn’t even need to climb
We’re falling apart, we won’t success
They’re just watching us build
And I can’t afford it endlessly
He doesn’t even need to climb
We’re falling apart, we won’t success
They’re just watching
The pleasure of arriving to a world that reduces you
Arrive just to satisfy someone’s desire
And you have to behave to supply their lives
Buy their improvement and forget your essence
How are they that blind?
Their hive mind will condemn their rise
Their human eyes, their human eyes are too guided by those black walls
Oh… Those black walls
A script to be followed
“We will make sure you follow the rules!”
[I don’t even like your face, you disturb my environment. You’re not even worthy to be seen
by me or my family. Clean your blood from the floor and abandon this place].
(This story seems tricked, only a few are the true winners… Human nature? I don’t think so…)
And I can’t afford it endlessly
He doesn’t even need to climb
We’re falling apart, we won’t success
They’re just watching us build
And I can’t afford it endlessly
He doesn’t even need to climb
We’re falling apart, we won’t success
They’re just watching
You won’t escape
“The child discovers that the world around him is not on his side. That passion is not something to be developed, but that human functioning must revolve around automated and empty behavior. Fed up with the injustices surrounding him, hatred crackles within him.”
Second of the two unleashing factors.
I suppose this process happens to all of us at some point during adolescence. It is the moment when you realize that you are not going to live doing something you enjoy, and that economic demands will dictate everything. And that there will always be others who, by luck in life, will have much more than what you will ever achieve.
It is seeing that meritocracy is not really a thing.
In addition, this anger grows from having to follow the orders imposed on you when you are a child or teenager: study, make an effort, and ignore the reward now, since it will only come in the future. Even if you don’t like it, you must do it.
Naturally, I came to accept it. I would grow up living a life that was not meant for me, and I would not be able to do anything to change it.
Colors was an album I discovered very shortly after I began composing. It changed my perspective on both music and the world.
It sharpened my critical sense and helped me develop a strong hatred toward industrialization. Besides my new tendency for harsh vocals.
